This study, linked to the Management of Network Educational Technologies research line, of the
Postgraduate Program in Network Educational Technologies, at the Federal University of Santa Maria,
is based on the motivation to find ways to facilitate, qualify and optimize the activities developed in the
Secretariat of the Postgraduate Program in Professional and Technological Education - Polo Instituto
Federal Farroupilha - Campus Jaguari/RS. Reflecting on the concerns of employees in these spaces,
regarding their responsibilities and duties, we sought to answer the question about the possibility of
optimizing the activities developed, specifically, in this secretariat, with the institutional tools available.
The objective, therefore, was to analyze the possibilities of optimizing activities using networked
educational technologies. The methodology refers to applied research, with a qualitative approach, of
the case study type. The research was developed in four stages: the first consisted of articulating with
the participants and organizing the theoretical framework, which brings discussions related to Work as
an educational principle, Management organized in professional spaces, and Networked educational
technologies. In the second, for data collection, interview instruments were used, with the Local
Coordination, questionnaires with students and graduates and secretaries from other Associated
Institutions. The third stage was the analysis of the collected data, using Bardin's content analysis
methodologies (xx), that is, pre-analysis, exploration of the material and treatment of results, in
addition to inferences and interpretations. And the last stage, based on the results obtained, a course
was developed and implemented in two open formats, presented as educational products and shared
with the aim of contributing to actions in Postgraduate departments.

This work presents a case study involving pedagogical practices and teaching methodology, in
addition to the training process in Digital Communication and Information Technologies of
teachers at a state public school in the interior of the city of Jóia/RS. The present study, linked
to the Postgraduate Program in Network Educational Technologies at UFSM/RS, Professional
Master's Degree in the Line of Research: Management of Network Educational Technologies,
aimed to understand and evaluate the attitude of teachers in the face of the current demands of
teaching, in the face of industry 4.0 revolutions and the new demands and challenges that, since
the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, in 2020, have imposed on education. In this way, the
training process of educators, all over the world, has been going through a series of changes
involving everything from the quality and success of teaching, to difficulties in accessing the
digital environment for them. The result of this research process, which involved the case study,
was that the teacher needs to become familiar with the different teaching possibilities that new
technologies and methodologies provide, so that they can promote creativity and stimulation to
students,making it necessary, therefore, to propose training in Digital Literacy with school
teachers, aligned with the purposes of the research. Therefore, the website Professores
Conectados do Campo da Escola Estadual de Ensino Médio Joceli Corrêa was developed, with
the aim of serving as a digital platform for study and training on Digital Information and
Communication Technologies and the tools present on the Chromebook that was received by
educators. Throughout the research process, we developed the Continuing Training of these
educators and, at the end of this study, we observed the change in the educators' pedagogical
stance towards the use and appropriation of the use and operationalization of Digital
Information and Communication Technologies

In recent years, education has undergone major changes due to the pandemic crisis caused by
the Covid-19 virus, which has made all activities that took place in person to work remotely. In
this scenario, teachers had to rethink their pedagogical practices, exploring the use of digital
technologies. However, there were several difficulties and challenges encountered. From the
digital fluency of teachers and students, to finding quality teaching materials and evidence of
their benefits to be used in the classroom. Thus, there is a need for studies that focus on the
creation of sequences and teaching materials mediated by technologies, systematically defined
and evaluated, to assist in the teaching and learning process of educators and future educators.
In parallel, there is a need to appropriate Digital Information and Communication Technologies
for the teaching of English in Basic Education, as they arise at different times with the aim of
intensifying student learning. In this sense, for the teaching of a foreign language, there is a
whole cultural universe for students to explore, whether through music, movies, series and
Digital Games (DJ). For such students, who most of the time are still in the literacy phase, the
use of JD in this process is crucial, because through them the student is able to develop their
autonomy, making them think when trying to solve some challenge. imposed by the games in
their different levels of difficulty. In this context, the general objective of this dissertation is to
develop an Instructional Unit based on Digital Games, for teaching English to students in the
Final Years of Elementary School. In terms of methodology, this research is classified as multimethod, as it adopts different qualitative and quantitative methods to define and evaluate the
proposal. In relation to time horizons, the research is transversal, as it occurs in events that are
dissociated in time. As a technical product, a requirement for a professional master's degree,
there is an Instructional Unit Based on Digital Games for Teaching English to Elementary
School II students. As a result of this research, obtained in evaluations from the perspective of
English language students and teachers, there is an indication of contribution to the learning of
students in the final years of Elementary School, and the potential to assist teachers and future
English language teachers in their pedagogical practices by appropriating a systematically
defined and evaluated instructional unit.

Test anxiety is a type of multifocal individual performance anxiety characterized by
psychological, physiological, and behavioral reactions towards school assessments.
Studies of this construct seek solutions for this situation that occurs at all levels of
education. Given this context, gamification presents itself as a strategy that can
reduce test anxiety, as its mechanism of use is precisely to promote a positive
experience. The research carried out was applied in nature, with exploratory and
descriptive objectives, with convergent mixed methods and characterized by a panel
of experts, opinion research and action research. To investigate whether test anxiety
decreases when using gamified school assessments compared to conventional tests,
some instruments were created to support this research. The first of these is also the
educational product, the development of a Set of Guidelines for Developing Gamified
School Assessments (Game-P), which presents guidance on how teachers can
transform conventional assessments into gamified assessments. These guidelines
were applied in the development of different gamified assessment models. Based on
the construction of these materials, a panel of experts was created for basic
education teachers with some knowledge of gamification and an opinion survey for
students in Elementary School - Final Years and High School. The objective of these
instruments was to present the research proposal and the instruments developed
and analyze, based on the opinion of experts and students, whether gamified
assessments can reduce test anxiety. In addition, the application of a reduced
version of the Test Anxiety Inventory (IAP), collecting information on the occurrence
of test anxiety. Action research was also carried out in 8th grade classes at a private
school in the Mathematics curricular component. The objective of this stage was to
implement all the instruments developed in a real situation, in order to carry out an
intervention, analyzing and reflecting on the results obtained. The results indicated
that there was an increase of 6 to 8 percentage points in the prevalence of test
anxiety, compared to data in the literature, and that the use of gamified assessments
has the potential to reduce this condition in basic education students. However, some
aspects need to be considered in future research, such as the profile of students,
teacher training on the topic and longitudinal effectiveness studies. These results
indicate that diverse assessment instruments, such as gamified assessment, can
reduce test anxiety and promote a positive, motivating and engaging experience.
