Biblioteca escolar: um olhar na gestão educacional do ensino particular

Abstract

Research: The School Library: A Look at Education Management Private Education was held in the qualitative mode, a case study. This study addressed the significance of private school library in teaching context and noted the various connotations of meaning between teachers, students, staff and community. The main objective was to analyze how the Library School of the Colégio São João Batista appears as a mediator between teacher (teaching) and student (Iearning), as well as its features and services and how the school community is located in the process of educational administration in which it operates. To achieve the desired goals, we used the literature that was written about products in the school library, information society, school management and education in order to elucidate the sources and analyze them. The research was performed procedures from participant observation, by conducting interviews with teachers, management team, students and school community, which consisted in learning the management of information services and library large enough to make the teaching of school.
