Abstract

This conclusion of course work is to analyze, reflect and evaluate the plan as an instrument for productive organization of rural settlements resulting from land reform policy. It is used to this, the MVP (Progressive Method Validation), emphasizing their approach on the existing reality and desired reality. Land concentration in Brazil as a problem "unresolved" has been obstacle to solving other problems that remain and hinder the actual development of Brazilian society throughout its history. For better understanding, presents a brief history about the class warfare waged over access to land. Then makes a brief foray on the establishment of rural settlements in São Gabriel - RS, in particular the PA Mother Earth. Finally, using the MVP as a planning, conduct case studies of their application within the PA and, particularly, the Cooperation Group and Production Roots of the Earth.
