dc.description.abstract | This article is the result of research whose core problem is based on the following question: how
are the markers of gender, species, race/ethnicity and social class triggered in discussions by
Brazilian activists on Instagram? Therefore, the theoretical path goes questions about Nature,
women and activism, through Shiva (2014), Federici (2018), Puleo (2019). With the aim of
understanding the practice of ecofeminism by activists on Instagram by observing the thematic
approach of their agendas, we adopted a methodological combination of netnography
(KOZINETS, 2014) with ethnography for the internet (HINE, 2011), for observation and data
collection on Instagram. And content analysis (BARDIN, 2011), to consider the themes found.
From the systematic observation of four active ecofeminists in the network, it was possible to
perceive the ways in which the content of the profiles contributes to the understanding of
ecofeminism and social inequalities, generating political awareness about the position of
women, Nature and others individuals in society. | eng |

ativistas brasileiras no Instagram?
sociedade. | por |
