Geotecnologias e gestão pública municipal: um estudo preliminar

Abstract

In a City Hall, the understanding of the need for accurate and tailored to their assignments is crucial to assist management processes. The Geotechnologys have been highlighted in various areas of knowledge to the treatment of large volumes of spatial data, to assist the planning and decision making that require perform spatial analysis and geographic analysis. Thus, we identified the importance of the application of geo data acquisition, and then, in the municipal administrations, a tool guiding improvements of public actions, aimed to further develop social hall. With so many capital cities are taking this new challenge, and incorporating the use of geotechnologys in their work environment. But in Brazil are large regional disparities evident and there are huge structural differences (financial, technical, technological and human resources) between the prefectures of cities large and small. The use of geotechnologys is an investment with high return rate for municipal governments. Besides the financial benefits, the use of geo works as tools to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the actions of municipal public management.
