A rotina de escolares no turno inverso escolar residentes da zona urbana e rural, e a interferência no estado nutricional
Abstract
A obesidade, talvez seja a enfermidade mais antiga que se conhece. Conforme a pesquisa da do Ministério da Saúde, “o percentual de pessoas com excesso de peso superou, pela primeira vez, mais da metade da população brasileira, sendo que 51% da população acima de 18 anos está acima do peso ideal. Em 2006, o índice era de 43%”. A obesidade infantil também vem aumentando o que é mais preocupante pois estudos demonstram que aproximadamente 20% das crianças obesas podem se tornar adultos obesos. A escola por sua vez, entra como disseminadora da conscientização de hábitos saudáveis para controle do peso corporal e manutenção da qualidade de vida. O presente estudo buscou identificar de a rotina no turno inverso escolar, de escolares do 5º ano da zona rural e urbana da escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Miguel Burnier de Coronel Barros / RS, interfere no peso corporal dos mesmos. A pesquisa foi realizada com 30 alunos: 16 meninas e 14 meninos. Destes, 19 são da zona rural (10 meninas e 9 meninas) e 11 da zona urbana (6 meninas e 5 meninos). Foi aplicado um questionário com questões abertas sobre a rotina no contra turno escolar onde os alunos informaram quantas horas semanais ocupam o contra turno escolar, e ainda foram utilizados os dados de estado nutricional checados pelo Programa saúde na escola, e este foi utilizado para relacionar com a rotina extra escolar. Concluiu-se que a rotina no turno inverso escolar interfere no peso corporal dos alunos, sendo que os alunos mais ativos estão com o peso adequado a idade, e os sujeitos menos ativos estão com sobrepeso. No entanto não teve diferenças significativas entre os sujeitos da zona rural e urbana.
