O papel dos múltiplos atores sociais no processo de territorialização da soja nos assentamentos de reforma agrária de Hulha Negra/RS
Abstract
A presente pesquisa analisa a temática da expansão da soja nos assentamentos rurais
de Hulha Negra, Rio Grande do Sul, a partir da percepção dos diversos atores sociais
envolvidos no processo, tendo como base conceitual a abordagem territorial, visto que esta
proporciona entender a expansão desse cultivo a partir das relações de poder estabelecidas
sobre o espaço. Em complemento busca-se perceber o papel dos múltiplos atores sociais
envolvidos no processo de transformação territorial nos assentamentos rurais de Hulha
Negra. Metodologicamente a pesquisa apresenta caráter exploratório e qualitativo, tendo
como procedimentos metodológicos, as pesquisas bibliográfica, de dados secundários e de
campo. Os múltiplos atores sociais nos mostram que a expansão da soja em meio aos lotes
de reforma agrária é uma opção dos agricultores que buscam alternativa para melhorar a
renda, os quais trabalham em regime de parceria, expandindo o plantio para além do seu
lote. Em contraponto não se apresenta, em nível de política pública federal e/ou local, ou
mesmo por parte da assistência técnica, alternativas que propiciem e estimulem os
agricultores a introduzir outros cultivos.
