Avaliação das pressões arterial média femoral e auricular no transoperatório de cães submetidos a neurocirurgias – estudo retrospectivo

Abstract

The monitoring of cardiorespiratory function is extremely important for the anesthetized patient, assigning great importance to the monitoring of blood pressure. The mean arterial pressure is the most important because it represents the conduction of the tissue perfusion. Neurological patients are highly susceptible to hemodynamic changes during surgical procedures such as hemilaminectomy and with this, this work has collected information from anesthetic files of patients who underwent this surgery at the Federal University of Santa Maria from January 2016 to October 2017. Objectived This study aims to evaluate retrospectively whether there is a difference in the mean values between atrial and femoral mean arterial pressure, in order to indicate which is the best alternative for arterial monitoring in patients submitted to hemilaminectomy. It was concluded that there is a statistically significant difference between femoral and atrial blood pressure values and that there is no correlation between time, weight, age, sex or race.
