dc.description.resumo | The electricity distribution model in the country has driven distributors to increasingly seek improvements in product quality indicators and the quality of electricity service. Distributors invest in automation to reduce network interventions, with field teams working. Many distributors choose to buy completely ready-made supervisory systems at a high cost or develop and implement their own systems. The literature is very diverse in terms of methodologies for automation of feeders, substation, lines, and equipment, allowing the control of numerous equipment within the distribution system. For voltage and reactive controls in substations, there are several ways to implement the control, where this work presents a methodology evaluating the existing own resources in a distributor in the country that proposes the implementation of a system using tap of transformers, capacitor banks, supervisory system and a maneuver manager, defining optimal points for network operation and switching equipment. https://doi.org/10.53316/sepoc2022.004 | por |

Proceedings of the 14th Seminar on Power Electronics and Control (SEPOC 2022) [30]
The Seminar on Power Electronics and Control (SEPOC) is an international conference technically co-sponsored by IEEE-IAS.
SEPOC 2022 was held online from November 12 to 15, 2022, organized by the IEEE Student Branch and Professional Joint Chapter from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), the National Institute of Science and Technology on Distributed Generation (INCT-GD), the Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering (PPGEE-UFSM) and the Technology Center (CT/UFSM).
The objective of the seminar was to provide interaction between academia and industry to discuss the latest cutting-edge technologies on Power Electronics, Control, Power Systems and their applications. The SEPOC 2022 theme was "Intelligence and Connectivity - Driving the Future of Power Electronics and Electrical Systems".
