Efeito da gestação sobre o status postural, o equilíbrio e a composição corporal – um estudo de caso
Abstract
A gravidez é uma das maiores mudanças temporárias que ocorre em todos os
sistemas do corpo feminino em um espaço de tempo curto. Neste estudo de caso
buscou-se analisar a postura, a composição corporal e o equilíbrio (com e sem fadiga)
durante diferentes períodos da gestação. Uma gestante de 41 anos foi submetida a
avaliações de dobras cutâneas (DC) (subescapular, tricipital, bicipital, peitoral, axial,
coxa e panturrilha - com compasso CescorfTM, resolução 0,1mm), massa corporal
(balança Arja, resolução 0,1kg), à avaliação postural (Kendall e Creary) e à testes de
equilíbrio estático (plataforma de força AMTI OR6). Constatou-se uma redução na
adiposidade subcutânea de 11,98%, quando se compararam os somatórios de DC do 1º e
3º trimestre, um aumento do peso corporal de 23,61%. Evidenciaram-se mudanças na
posição da cabeça, escápulas, região lombar e pelve. O equilíbrio antes e após o
protocolo de fadiga mostrou-se diminuído quando observado nos diferentes estágios da
gravidez. Concluí-se que a gestante reduziu a adiposidade corporal, apesar do aumento
de peso corporal; apresentou alterações posturais restritas à cabeça, escápulas, região
lombar e pelve e demonstrou diminuição do equilíbrio postural.
