Consulta multiprofissional para avaliação da adesão ao tratamento antirretroviral de pacientes portadores do HIV
Abstract
Introdução: Entre os fatores importantes para que o paciente seja aderente ao
tratamento medicamentoso está o apoderamento do indivíduo sobre sua condição de
saúde, facilitando aceitação e a integração do regime terapêutico no cotidiano do
indivíduo. Objetivo: Verificar o grau de adesão ao tratamento e sua influência na
eficiência da terapia antirretroviral (TARV), bem como determinar o conhecimento do
paciente sobre a ação dos medicamentos e a percepção da importância destes para a
melhora do seu estado de saúde. Métodos: Entre as ações realizadas no momento do
atendimento pela equipe da residência multiprofissional, composta por um
farmacêutico, nutricionista e fisioterapeuta, foi aplicado um questionário para Avaliação
da Adesão ao Tratamento Antirretroviral (CEAT-VIT, versão em português), e avaliado o
resultado da carga viral de 50 pacientes portadores do vírus HIV, recebendo TARV a
pelo menos seis meses. Resultados: O grau de adesão ao tratamento mostrou ser
bom ou estrito, na maioria dos pacientes (82%) dos pacientes, independente do
controle da carga viral. Entre os indivíduos com carga viral detectável, 54% relataram
ter conhecimento no máximo regular sobre a ação e importância do medicamento para
o controle da sua doença, a maioria percebeu os benefícios do uso do medicamento e
sua relação com a melhora do seu estado geral de saúde. Conclusão: Apesar da
dificuldade inerente ao tratamento existente para as doenças crônicas, os pacientes,
quando bem orientados mostram motivação para seu tratamento, como demonstrados
pelo índice de boa adesão encontrado.
