A gestão da inclusão educacional de alunos com transtorno do espectro autista: o lugar do profissional de apoio
Abstract
O Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA) é uma síndrome comportamental cujas características implicam num tratamento diferenciado para os sujeitos por ele acometidos. Para a efetivação da inclusão educacional desses alunos a gestão escolar organiza algumas estratégias que, recentemente, também passaram a receber atenção na legislação. O acompanhamento dos alunos com TEA por profissional de apoio consiste numa dessas estratégias. Contudo, a organização desse trabalho, bem como o entendimento sobre o profissional incumbido de realizá-lo ainda requerem ser clareados. Assim, teve-se como objetivo nesse estudo, identificar como vêm sendo apresentado o acompanhante escolar que atua em prol da inclusão de alunos com TEA na legislação brasileira, bem como nos estudos que o contemplam, tecendo reflexões e apontamentos a respeito da realidade que se encontra e daquela que se almeja. Para responder ao objetivo realizou-se nesta pesquisa uma revisão de literatura sobre o profissional de apoio, bem como uma discussão baseada nos documentos legais que o citam, tecendo-se, a partir de análise descritiva, apontamentos sobre necessidades e efeitos da realidade que se encontra. Como resultados constatou-se que a legislação apresenta redundância quando trata do profissional de apoio em documentos diferentes, além de não abordá-lo com a clareza necessária no que se refere a denominações e mesmo funções que deve assumir. Quanto à literatura, observou-se situação semelhante, sendo que há uma diversidade de denominações, funções e formação atribuídas ao profissional de apoio. Essa realidade aponta para a demanda de esclarecimentos legais sobre esse profissional, bem como uma atenção a sua formação, de forma que sua atuação venha a favorecer o movimento da inclusão, em vez de ter efeito contrário.
