Visão sobre meio ambiente entre alunos de escolas da rede pública no município de Cachoeira do Sul (RS, Brasil)
Abstract
Este trabalho relata uma pesquisa realizada entre alunos do curso normal e de anos
iniciais, de quatro escolas estaduais do município de Cachoeira do Sul (RS). O
objetivo foi investigar a visão através da análise de desenhos dos alunos sobre meio
ambiente, comparando os dois níveis de ensino. Solicitou-se aos alunos que
representassem, por meio de desenho, sua concepção do que é meio ambiente. Os
trabalhos foram analisados e divididos em categorias que representavam as
imagens ligadas ao ambiente que eram recorrentes (homem, animais, plantas entre
outras). Pela observação dos trabalhos verificou-se que, para grande parte dos
discentes do ensino fundamental, meio ambiente é sinônimo de verde, de harmonia
e equilíbrio; foram poucas as representações de agressões ao ambiente. Já no
curso normal, a observação dos trabalhos demonstra que os alunos parecem
possuir uma maior consciência dos danos e impactos já sofridos pelo planeta.
Considerando os resultados obtidos, seria interessante repensar a prática ambiental
nas escolas. Respeitando sensibilidades, mas sem esconder fatos e perspectivas,
dando visibilidade aos problemas, talvez as crianças sejam, cada vez mais, agentes
transformadores e co-responsáveis pelo processo de cura do planeta.
