A relação entre a poluição do ar e as principais variáveis climatológicas na cidade de Canoas, Rio Grande do Sul
Abstract
A poluição do ar, por muitas vezes, não é perceptível, e tem afetado diretamente a saúde das pessoas e é uma das mais graves formas de poluição; principalmente, quando associada a variações climáticas, as consequências podem ser atenuadas ou agravadas. Nesse contexto, a presente pesquisa tem por objetivo utilizar as técnicas de análise multivariada de agrupamento e fatorial para determinar a associação entre as variáveis de poluição do ar e as variáveis climatológicas. Posteriormente, foram ajustados os modelos de série temporal ARMAX, utilizando como variáveis exógenas as variáveis definidas na análise multivariada e os modelos ARIMA, Alisamento Exponencial Simples, Biparamétrico e Holt-Winters, com finalidade de apresentar uma comparação do desempenho das previsões dos modelos, ajustando para as variáveis de poluição do ar. As variáveis climatológicas foram coletadas no Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia (INMET) e os poluentes do ar, na Fundação Estadual de Proteção Ambiental (FEPAM) para o município de Canoas-RS, durante todo o ano de 2014. No agrupamento entre as variáveis formaram-se dois grupos bem definidos: O cluster 1 reúne as variáveis mais próximas (O3, Insolação, Evaporação, Temperatura Mínima e Temperatura Máxima), o cluster 2, as outras variáveis mais próximas (SO2, CO, PM10). Para o grupo 1 foram ajustados modelos de previsão propostos para variável O3, usando as demais variáveis do grupo como exógenas ao modelo ARMAX. Na comparação dos resultados de previsão foram utilizados os critérios: MAPE, EQM, MAD e SSE. Os resultados mostraram que o modelo SARIMAX (1,1,1[1,1,1])(0,1,1), produziu melhores resultados de previsão em relação aos seus concorrentes SARIMA e da classe de alisamento exponencial. No grupo 2 foram ajustados modelos de previsão para variável PM10, usando as demais variáveis do grupo como exógenas ao modelo ARMAX. Na comparação dos resultados de previsão, o modelo ARX(1,[1,1]) produziu melhores resultados de previsão em relação aos seus concorrentes ARIMA e da classe de alisamento exponencial. Conclui-se que o uso conjunto de técnicas de análise multivariada e séries temporais pode proporcionar melhores resultados para previsão. Assim, destaca-se a ampla possibilidade de utilização das técnicas conjuntas de análise multivariada e séries temporais quando se deseja fazer previsões e descrever um processo temporal com a utilização de variáveis explicativas, podendo ser utilizadas como ferramentas eficientes de apoio nas tomadas de decisão em inúmeras áreas.
