Uma nova classe de distribuições unitárias baseada na família Weibull estendida com aplicação em dados eleitorais
Abstract
Neste trabalho é proposta uma família de distribuições chamada nova famíliaWeibull estendida
unitária (NWEU), a qual é derivada a partir da transformação em uma variável aleatória
que pertence à classe de distribuiçõesWeibull estendida. São definidos e apresentados seis submodelos
pertencentes à família, sendo eles: i) distribuição exponencial exponencializada unitária;
ii) distribuição Gompertz unitária; iii) distribuição half-logistic unitária; iv) distribuição
Lomax unitária; v) distribuição Nadarajah-Haghighi unitária e vi) Distribuição Rayleigh unitária.
Foi proposta uma parametrização em termos dos quantis das distribuições. Apresentouse
um estudo detalhado sobre os estimadores de máxima verossimilhança dessa nova família.
Realizou-se simulações de Monte Carlo para estudar o comportamento dos estimadores de máxima
verossimilhança das distribuições Rayleigh unitária e Gompertz unitária. Verificou-se que
o modelo Rayleigh unitário possui forma fechada para o estimador de máxima verossimilhança
e que este é aproximadamente não viesado, mesmo para amostras pequenas. Por fim, os novos
modelos foram ajustados à proporção de votos válidos para o segundo turno das eleições presidenciais
brasileiras, considerando o ano de 2018 e a região nordeste. A escolha justifica-se
pelo fato de que a região nordeste possui o segundo maior sítio eleitoral do Brasil. Além disso,
esta é a única região em que o presidente eleito não obteve a maioria dos votos em todos os
estados. Na aplicação verificou-se a superioridade dos modelos propostos ao comparar o ajuste
com alguns modelos usuais no contexto de dados unitários, tais como as distribuições Beta,
Kumaraswamy e gama unitária.
