Avaliação de alternativa de extração e quantificação de tricotecenos em amostras de milho utilizando cromatografia líquida acoplada à espectrometria de massas em Tandem
Abstract
As micotoxinas são uma problemática global que impacta na segurança alimentar
humana e animal, além de causar prejuízos econômicos significativos. Os tricotecenos são um
grupo de mais de 200 micotoxinas que diferem quimicamente entre si, produzidos
principalmente por fungos Fusarium spp e que estão divididos em quatro grupos, sendo os
tricotecenos presentes no tipo A e B os mais relevantes do ponto de vista sanitário e econômico.
As diferenças químicas entre os tricotecenos fazem com que metodologias analíticas que
englobem todos eles sejam de difícil elaboração, sendo necessários procedimentos complexos
para que seja possível extrair todas as micotoxinas desejadas, fazendo-se uso de extração em
fase sólida por exemplo, tornando o procedimento mais oneroso e demorado. O objetivo do
presente estudo foi avaliar uma metodologia alternativa capaz de recuperar sete tricotecenos,
sendo eles T-2, HT-2 e DAS do tipo A e 3-AcDON, 15-AcDON, NIV e FusX do tipo B, em
amostras de milho fortificadas com padrões comerciais em 3 concentrações (80, 300 e 600
μg/L) através de cromatografia líquida acoplada à espectrometria de massas em tandem (HPLCMS/
MS). Os resultados preliminares obtidos nesse estudo recuperaram com sucesso seis dos
sete tricotecenos testados, trazendo perspectivas positivas para que essa metodologia possa ser
utilizada para auxiliar na avaliação dos níveis de tricotecenos de maneira mais rápida e barata
do que as metodologias atualmente disponíveis.
