Medição do coeficiente de espalhamento em câmaras reverberantes em escala reduzida e escala real
Abstract
O estudo da difusão e do espalhamento sonoro é relativamente novo no campo da acústica. Os difusores foram propostos como tratamento acústico pela primeira vez no final dos anos 1970, e só ganharam ampla popularidade no mercado cerca de dez anos depois. Tendo em vista a importância de parâmetros como o coeficiente de espalhamento para uma melhor caracterização acústica em simulações e o escasso banco de dados existente sobre o assunto, pode-se vislumbrar uma longa caminhada de estudo e pesquisa ainda na área de difusão em acústica. Assim, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar experimentalmente os efeitos das reflexões difusas e sua relação com o coeficiente de espalhamento, por meio de medições normatizadas pela ISO 17497-1 que dá diretrizes para o ensaio em câmara reverberante. O estudo abrange diversos aspectos fundamentais, incluindo a parte técnica e prática dos ensaios e uma análise detalhada da construção dos aparatos necessários para as medições que foram realizadas em escala reduzida (1:5) e escala real. Para viabilização do ensaio em escala real, foi necessário projetar uma mesa giratória para colocação das amostras além da montagem da cadeia de medição para os dois ensaios, em escala reduzida e real. Dessa forma, neste trabalho é discutido a respeito do coeficiente de espalhamento, o ensaio experimental e seus desafios além de resultados obtidos para as amostras testadas. Para a escala reduzida, as adequações alcançaram os objetivos esperados. Entretanto, na medição em tamanho real, foi identificada a necessidade de aperfeiçoar o projeto e reduzir a absorção da mesa giratória em baixas frequências, em especial na banda de 800 Hz. Outras melhorias, como a motorização no método de rotação da mesa, foram sugeridas para obter resultados mais precisos e ensaios mais curtos. Essas considerações ressaltam a importância de melhorias contínuas no sistema de medição para aumentar a precisão e confiabilidade dos resultados em ambas as escalas, permitindo futuros estudos mais embasados. Diante disso, este trabalho forneceu um aparato para análise do coeficiente de espalhamento em medições em escala real, abrindo caminho para novos estudos sobre o tema de espalhamento, além de aprimorar a câmara em escala reduzida, proporcionando continuidade nas pesquisas em espalhamento sonoro no curso de Engenharia Acústica.
