Difusão de informação e acessibilidade de arquivos: um estudo dos sítios dos arquivos públicos da região Sul do Brasil

Abstract

The current paper presents the results of a study concerning the information dissemination and accessibility of sites in the Public Archives of Southern Brazil, available on Internet. Through it, it’s investigated how information are displayed in the institutional sites and if they consider the guidelines established by the National Council on Archives (CONARQ) and the study of access to archival information in Brazil by José Maria Jardim, related to build websites archival institutions. In this sense, the sites were analyzed based on criteria such as layout, collection information and services. The results show that, despite the initiative of institutional promotion via the web sites of the files need to be analyzed some relevant information, especially concerning to online services and data displayed in a more objective way. Under possession of this study, it will be possible, to the institutions, set goals to attend specifications that can help users in their researches as well as dissemination of the collection.
