Atividades mediadas por computador como potencializadoras da aprendizagem da química no ensino médio
Abstract
A Química é uma ciência experimental, mas também depende da visualização de determinados fenômenos para ser compreendida, neste aspecto os modelos são úteis, e o uso do computador pode facilitar a aprendizagem dessa ciência. Este artigo relata o trabalho realizado na disciplina de Química nas três séries do ensino médio em uma escola particular. Foram aplicadas atividades mediadas por computador: atividades de autoria criadas no Hot Potatoes® (Palavras Cruzadas e Exercícios de Múltipla Escolha ); objetos de aprendizagem (animações - LabVirt/USP) e listas de exercícios - deveres de casa - utilizando o site SuperProfessor® Web (a partir de um banco de questões). Foi realizada observação durante a execução das atividades no laboratório de informática, de acordo com os itens: participação, interesse, acerto das questões. As listas de exercícios foram analisadas após sua finalização, computados o número de alunos que cumpriram a tarefa e número de questões corretas. Após as atividades, foi solicitado aos alunos que preenchessem um questionário avaliando a experiência. Os alunos demonstraram interesse e participaram ativamente das atividades completando-as corretamente. Sendo que apresentaram maior dificuldade para realizar as listas de exercícios. A totalidade dos alunos considerou que o uso do computador em sala de aula, os estimula a estudar e realizar as tarefas. A atividade preferida pela maioria foi "Palavras Cruzadas". Mais da metade dos alunos reutilizou alguma das atividades. Os resultados obtidos, demonstram que o aluno valoriza a utilização das tecnologias, especialmente o computador para melhorar a sua aprendizagem e valorizar sua capacidade de buscar o conhecimento.
