dc.description.abstract | The main role of Environmental Education is to help people adopt a new attitude towards their own place. The expectation is that Environmental Education is the only strategy for effective change. The objective of this work was to investigate how Environmental Education has been worked in two state schools in the city of Tuparendi RS, as well as to verify the teachers' conceptions about environmental education and to analyze the pedagogical strategies used by them in the development of work with Environmental Education in your school. A questionnaire was applied with open and closed questions, adding eleven questions evaluated. With the participation of 20 teachers in total, different points of view regarding the conception of Environmental Education were observed. Most teachers said they have heard of EA. Where 86% of Andrea Parise school teachers and 92% of Yeté school say they work with EA. The predominance of pedagogical practices or strategies used by teachers is still based on orientation texts and the passage of content and projects (21% in the Andrea Parise school). It is evident that, since the initial formation of teachers, as well as in the continued formation of these Environmental Education, it is something more concrete and permanent, capable of strongly influencing their performance in the school environment. | eng |

dc.description.resumo | O papel principal da Educação Ambiental é contribuir para que as pessoas adotem uma nova postura em relação ao seu próprio lugar. A expectativa é que a Educação Ambiental vem a ser a única estratégia para uma mudança efetiva. O objetivo deste trabalho foi investigar de que forma a Educação Ambiental vem sendo trabalhada em duas escolas estaduais no município de Tuparendi- RS, além de verificar as concepções que os professores têm sobre a educação ambiental e analisar quais são as estratégias pedagógicas usadas por eles no desenvolvimento do trabalho com a Educação Ambiental na sua escola. Foi aplicado um questionário com questões abertas e fechadas, somando onze perguntas avaliadas. Com a participação de 20 professores no total, constatou-se diferentes pontos de vista a respeito concepção da Educação Ambiental. A maioria dos professores afirmaram que já ouviram falar sobre a EA. Onde 86% dos docentes da escola Andrea Parise e 92% da escola Yeté dizem trabalhar com EA. A predominância de práticas ou estratégias pedagógicas usadas pelos docentes ainda se baseia em textos de orientação e passagem de conteúdo e projetos (21% na escola Andrea Parise). Evidencia-se a necessidade que, desde a formação inicial dos professores, bem como na formação continuada destes a Educação Ambiental seja algo mais concreto e permanente, capaz de influenciar decididamente a atuação dos mesmos no ambiente escolar. | por |
