A importância da estimulação essencial para crianças com deficiência visual

Abstract

This work aims to know the importance of essential stimulation for visually impaired children and to describe how significant is early intervention when the deficiency is detected. The former problematic in the present study is what is the importance of essential stimulation for visually impaired children? As specific objectives, the work describes contributions of the essential stimulation for the development of visually impaired children, describing the importance of such stimulation and identifying the factors that influence the development of the essential stimulation o f the visually impaired children. The methodology is qualitative with the use of the bibliographic method. The analysis was descriptive and discusses about the importance of essential stimulation is, in fact, a determining factor in the development of the visually impaired child. The studies of authors which this work was based show that the essential stimulation is relevant because it has the objective of preventing or treating probable difficulties or delays in the childhood development, besides pointing out the importance of family involvement together with a multidisciplinary team in the intervention programs.
