Comunicação para o desenvolvimento: projeto piloto Lazos com a PoliFeira

Abstract

This experimental Project aims at realizing the pilot test of the Lazos, throughout the experiment of the communication methodology, having as a field study the Agriculturist Multiple Fair, of UFSM. Through this work, we seek to help institutions which promote the rural development, from providing concrete data based on the lived experience, to implement methods and processes of communication more effective and democratic with the rural individuals. That way, the concepts of Territorial Development (SCHNEIDER, 2010; NAVARRO, 2001; ABRAMOVAY, 2000) and the Communication as a Meeting (PERUZZOLO, 2006) have been worked, in order to enable the comprehension about the perspective of the Communication for the Development that guides this work. Initially, the methodology was based on the diagnosis of reality of the individuals and the communication demands of them, throughout field days and a questionnaire application. Next, a plan of workshops about communication, technology and product management for the marketers was accomplished. The meetings aimed to sensitize social actors about their importance for the development of the territory and to promote the creation of collaborative network. Among the results, we noticed an increase in the desire for collective behaviors and product improvements. Therefore, based on this experimental Project, we believe it can be readapted and replicated in other countries covered by Lazos, enabling more positive results and the use of public resources in a more effective way.
