Análise da viabilidade econômico-financeira da implantação de um centro de suporte administrativo e mecânico pra uma empresa de locação de máquinas e equipamentos pesados

Abstract

The present study aims to verify the economic and financial viability of the implementation of a support base in the city of Rio Verde - GO and the investment in an own mechanic's workshop. For this, a case study of quantitative approach was carried out in a company to provide equipment and machinery rental services in Palmeira das Missões - RS. For the data required for the study, interviews were conducted with three people, following a semi-structured script prepared by the author, in addition to conducting market research. For the creation of tables that allowed to analyze the data found, it was counted with the help of the Microsoft Excel tool. The research sought to be based on the analysis of financial indices such as Payback and Discounted Payback, Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and Net Present Value (NPV). The information used for the calculations was taken from the company's management system and refers to the year 2018. The Payback found was 1.30 years; Discounted Payback was 1.42 years; the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) was 60%; and the Net Present Value was R $ 343,992.28. In addition to this main scenario, other alternatives were analyzed for evaluation by the managers, making use of the same calculations and data, in order to grant other options, and to consider possible risks
