dc.description.abstract | The paths of Art and Psychoanalysis have been intertwined since Freud and his persistent interest in weaving links with artistic creation and with the artist himself. However, even though several concepts of the psychoanalytic practice have had great contributions from Art, when it is about the creative impulse there is a character of mystery and inaccuracy. This has happened mainly due to the multiplicity of approaches that Psychoanalysis uses to deal with Art, sometimes being brought in an ambiguous approach or even in disagreement - making the subject rich, but complex. The goal of this work is to present, through bibliographical research in some psychoanalytic and/or literary works, what Psychoanalysis - especially Freud - brings about Art and artistic creation. It is also proposed, in order to expand existing knowledge and clarify some neglect on the subject, by listening to the perspective of some artists such as Roger Fry, Louise Bourgeois and Marcel Duchamp. In addition, speeches by a psychoanalyst-artist, the writer Ariane Severo, will be presented, in order to show the intentions in the construction of a historical novel produced from an intimate crossing between Art and Psychoanalysis. Finally, it is admitted that there is no psychoanalytic explanation for the entire artistic phenomenon, but these encounters and distances are responsible for causing Psychoanalysis to leave its place of comfort to move and seek new places, being able, one of these new places, to be Art itself. | eng |
