dc.description.abstract | The treatment of children at some risk for their development began early in the lives of babies.
So the parent’s presence happens to be even more important. This study aims to know the
approaches of Occupational Therapy in the Early Intervention (EI) clinic, together with the
parents and the babies attended in an outpatient clinic linked to a public university in the interior
of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. It seeks to find the parents' place in the treatment of the baby
in Early Intervention and the contribution of Occupational Therapy in this discussion. It was
carried out through a descriptive qualitative study, produced by semistructured interviews,
analyzed by the content analysis technique. The results indicates toward the constitution of an
interdisciplinary team, based on evaluation and treatment plan considering the uniqueness of
the child. It announces and strengthens the importance of parents in attendance in Early
Intervention and gives a direction to the place of Occupational Therapy. It is a professional who
conducts his treatment by intervening in the parental tasks, constructing a daily life in which
the individuals are involved in becoming subjects of their actions in the condition of
occupational roles. It is still necessary to continue producing studies that strengthen the place
of Occupational Therapy in Early Intervention. | eng |

dc.description.resumo | O Tratamento de crianças com algum risco para seu desenvolvimento tem começado cada vez mais cedo na vida de bebês. Com isso o lugar dos pais passa a ser peça ainda mais importante.
Este estudo objetiva conhecer as abordagens da Terapia Ocupacional na clínica da Intervenção
Precoce (IP), junto aos pais e os bebês atendidos em um ambulatório vinculado à uma
universidade pública do interior do estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Busca visualizar o lugar dos
pais no tratamento do bebê em Intervenção Precoce e a contribuição da Terapia Ocupacional
nesta discussão. Foi realizado através de um estudo qualitativa descritivo, produzido por
entrevistas semiestruturadas, analisadas pela técnica de análise de conteúdo. Os resultados
apontam para a constituição de equipe interdisciplinar, pautada em avaliação e plano de
tratamento, considerando a singularidade da criança. Anuncia e fortalece a importância dos pais
nos atendimentos em Intervenção Precoce e dá uma direção quanto ao lugar da Terapia
Ocupacional. Trata-se de um profissional que conduz seu tratamento intervindo nos fazeres
parentais, construindo um cotidiano em que os sujeitos estejam implicados em se fazeres
sujeitos de suas ações na condição de papeis ocupacionais. Ainda é necessário seguir-se
produzindo estudos que fortaleçam o lugar da Terapia Ocupacional na Intervenção Precoce. | por |
