Medidas socioeducativas em meio aberto: o adolescente em foco

Abstract

This work allows the identification of the effect of the approach of adolescents in conflict with the law, through activities that they perform during the executing of socio-educational measures in freedom at the Centro de Defesa dos Direitos da Criança e do Adolescente - CEDEDICA/SM, through issues pointed by them. Considering the knowledge that the institution presents and, a critical reflection, with which will be possible to question and seek to comprehend better the complexity of this reality, as well as of the professional social worker who acts and, their daily challenges to ensure the access to social rights of users. This work also presents a brief discussion about the historical process of the policy of attendance for children and adolescents, about the legal guarantees directed to socio-educational attendance, as well as the contradictions. We also exposed some concerns through discussions and reflections about infrational act and socio-educational measures, considering the importance of re-think the practices as strategies to the consolidation of a policy of attendance of children and adolescents in risk situation and social vulnerability, trying to not perpetuate a population segment historically excluded and stigmatized.
