dc.description.resumoThis paper deals with the analysis of frequency harmonic components to classify as islanding or non-islanding events. With this objective a new algorithm based on the comparison between the zero and oscillation frequency components is proposed. The technique uses the difference in the synchronous machine behavior during transient, it present better performance when compared to the under/over frequency.por
