Abstract

The course conclusion work presented here is a continuation of the reflections generated in the curricular traineeship process. These reflections refer to the lack of production in the Social Work area regarding the intervention dimension of work, more specifically in relation to the "how to do" of procedures such as reception. It is a research of theoretical-bibliographic character that has the objective of analyzing the adequacy of the concept of soft technologies in both Social Service and Collective Health. The conceptual discussion presented here runs through the broader debate about technology, approaching it as a social phenomenon and as the object of analytical-conceptual studies. As well as part of a bibliographical survey of articles in the area of Social Work and Collective Health that deal with the theoretical discussion of soft technologies, with the objective of identifying the current concepts in these two areas of knowledge about the reception and the entail, such as work processes enrolled in health technologies. Also presents here approximations between the data collected in the research, with the results obtained in the implementation of the intervention project developed in the traineeship. Identifying the peculiarities of the professional work of the social worker in the relational field. The development of this research proposes to promote a deepening of the theoretical discussion about the intervention dimension of the profession, highlighting its peculiarities in the way of approaching the users of health services bearing in mind the social and historical determinants that interfere in the life of these subjects. It considers that the procedures that are part of the relational dimension of the work, are procedures guided by rules and specific and well structured knowledges, permeated by an intentionality and moved by a rational action, being characterized as technology.
