O perfil empreendedor dos acadêmicos de enfermagem em uma universidade pública no nordeste do estado do Rio Grande do Sul

Abstract

Objective: To know the entrepreneurial profile of nursing students at a public university. Method: A multicenter, cross-sectional study with a quantitative and qualitative approach. Developed with nursing students from a public university in the northwest of Rio Grande do Sul state, from the application of a characterization form, General Entrepreneurial Trend test and Entrepreneurship Scale. Data were tabulated and analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results: there was a predominance of females (90.4%). In the entrepreneurial tendencies, the students had results below the average of the test, but in isolated TEG items and in the entrepreneurial scale they are very interested about the entrepreneurship being approached during the undergraduate course. Conclusion: nursing students are interested in inserting content about entrepreneurship in their education, however, there are still gaps in the curriculum matrix of the educational institution, which may interfere in the formation of the entrepreneurial profile in nursing.
