Influência das condições da rodovia nos custos operacionais para escoamento da produção agrícola entre a RSC–392 e BR–158

Abstract

This paper aims to study the influence of road conditions on the composition of operating costs for users of the RSC –392 highway, between Tupanciretã and BR–158, including the flow of agricultural production and the transportation of people through the use of HDM-4 software. For this study, the stretch was chosen because of its importance for the region's economy, since the city is a major grain producer. The pavement conditions were analyzed by Continuous Visual Survey, Wheel Track Sinking and Longitudinal Irregularity, measured by laser inertial profilometer, and directional and classificatory traffic volumetric counting. The simulation was performed in the software with the input of the obtained and processed data, setting a scenario of factors that make up the program model, such as traffic flow type, highway class, traffic composition and volume, type and condition of the program. pavement, among others. The purpose of this simulation was to compare how indices such as IRI influence costs, using two scenarios: the first consisting of not doing maintenance / interventions during the defined project period, and the second performing periodic interventions. The results obtained showed that this road, if maintained its conservation pattern, can result in savings of about R$80.000/km/year to users, demonstrating that pavement conditions influence and the maintenance of highways allows greater benefits to society.
