Dimensionamento de diferentes estruturas de pavimentos submetidas a quatro solicitações de tráfego: análise pelos métodos do DNER E MeDiNa, considerando o desempenho e os custos por solicitação
Abstract
O transporte de carga por meio das rodovias é muito utilizado no Brasil. No entanto, as mudanças ocorrentes no campo da pavimentação vêm sendo significativas. Diante disso, o dimensionamento por metodologias mecanísticas-empíricas torna-se cada vez mais presente no âmbito nacional, com a criação do Método de Dimensionamento Nacional de Pavimentos (MeDiNa), com análises mais apuradas não só dos materiais utilizados, mas também das tensões e deformações, desenvolvidas no pavimento. Em decorrência disto, este trabalho demonstra o dimensionamento e avaliação de pavimentos, tanto com o método do DNER quanto com o método MeDiNa, a fim de comparar as estruturas, dimensionadas para diferentes tráfegos e utilizando diversos materiais para as camadas de sub-base do pavimento, além de distintas energias de compactação para o subleito, e variação dos revestimentos asfálticos, mantendo sempre a mesma base granular. O objetivo da presente pesquisa é analisar os materiais do pavimento, quanto à qualidade e o custo, em relação ao número de ciclos, visando a comparação orçamentária e técnica dos métodos e materiais utilizados a longo prazo. Foi possível averiguar o comportamento do subleito frente à energia de compactação e constatar que a mesma influencia no pavimento como um todo, ademais, para a sub-base com a troca dos materiais, é possível perceber que um solo de boa qualidade pode ter características superiores a sub-bases granulares, e sua utilização traz menores custos à estrutura. Por fim, foi possível verificar que o método MeDiNa, se comparado ao DNER, traz pavimentos que tendem a ser mais eficientes. Mantendo a vida útil projetada, não falhando por fadiga e ATR dentro do período de projeto, além de possuir menor custo se comparados o custo do km por solicitações dos pavimentos. Tal economia acontece devido ao método proporcionar maior facilidade de comparação e substituição de materiais e camadas do pavimento, o que otimiza o trabalho do projetista.
