Implementação de um módulo de impressão de imagens diagnósticas em um visualizador baseado em web

Abstract

Medicine is a field which benefited from the popularization of computers. The creation and expansion of Digital Radiology, as well as the appearance of standards such as DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine), brought more fastness and precision to perform examinations, positive features to physicians and patients. Nevertheless it is possible to notice that the printing of exams in paper is still needed, so they can be delivered to any kind of patient and carried outside the clinic in an easy way. This study aims to add the print feature in paper and radiographic film to Weasis, a web-based viewer of medical images.
