A receita nas atividades empresariais e seu processo de reconhecimento – análise sob a ótica da estrutura conceitual básica da contabilidade
Abstract
Desde o século XIII até o século XVI, a contabilidade tinha como principal objetivo produzir informações para o proprietário, ou seja, para o usuário interno. Com o passar do tempo, os usuários externos começaram a ter importância no planejamento a ser seguido pela empresa. Os incentivadores da evolução, o livre arbítrio de escolha entre todas as alternativas viáveis não era mais tarefa única e exclusivamente dos criadores originais da Contabilidade, mas sim passou a ser função exercida pelos usuários externos. Os usuários externos, hoje, estão muitíssimo ampliados, já que cada vez mais sindicatos, clientes, partidos políticos e outras associações de pessoas e entidades também começam a ver, de forma crescente, nas informações contábeis, uma fonte de informações significativamente útil. Pode-se notar que todas as regras contábeis, ainda hoje consideradas fundamentais, têm nascido ao longo do tempo muito mais em função de atendimento às necessidades de usuários do que como decorrência de movimentos filosóficos e teóricos. Como já dito, no início visavam o atendimento às necessidades do gestor patrimonial e depois, o atendimento às necessidades dos usuários externos, entre os quais, hoje, salienta-se o fisco, o mercado de capitais, os órgãos de controle, etc.
