A doença de Alzheimer: mudanças no cotidiano do sujeito e familiar/cuidador: um olhar nas contribuições teóricas em Terapia Ocupacional

Abstract

Alzheimer's disease is characterized by multiple cognitive loss, which involves memory impairment and progressive loss of functional capacity. Occupational Therapy is one way of participating in research into the lives of your children, in your social role, in your own life and in life as an individual. The aim of the research is to carry out a bibliographic review about Alzheimer's disease, contextualizing the interferences caused in the daily life of the subject affected by this pathology, the consequences in the life of the caregiver and / or the family that lives with this subject, identifying the actions of the Therapy Occupational in the producing life. Methodologically the research is of a bibliographic character where the data will be collected through the databases Scielo, Bireme, Pub Med and Web Sciense, as well as through books, articles, dissertations and theses. The results of the research will be the bibliographically collected findings. It is hoped that this research will point out the importance of Occupational Therapy with subjects affected by Alzheimer's Disease, as well as contribute to the other researchers who are interested in the subject studied here.
