Trabalho e gênero: uma sociologia da produção artesanal na Quarta Colônia na Região Central do RS
Abstract
Este trabalho é resultado da pesquisa de trabalho final de curso, e objetivou situar o trabalho artesanal dentro das relações de gênero utilizando o pensamento de Bourdieu (2012)2, nesta obra ele não trata propriamente a questão de gênero, mas sim a dimensão simbólica, no qual segundo ele a dominação masculina seria uma forma particular de ver a violência simbólica, o poder impondo as significações como legitimas, de forma a dissimular as relações de força que sustentariam a própria força masculina, visualizando um modo de pensar pautado pelas dicotomias e oposições, neste trabalho abordamos o masculino/feminino, porém o mesmo pode ocorrer entre alto/baixo, rico/pobre ou feio/bonito. O referencial teórico sobre artesanato foi construído com base na obra do autor Richard Sennett (2012)3 no qual o mesmo traça um panorama do trabalho artesanal ao longo do tempo. O fazer artesanal foi passando por diversas modificações ao longo dos tempos, inicialmente os produtos eram confeccionados no fundo das residências em pequenos ambientes com pouca infraestrutura. Com o passar do tempo à produção foi se profissionalizando, foram criadas pequenas agroindústrias que foram conseguindo legalizar seus produtos, outras continuaram produzindo na informalidade, mas nem por isso deixando de lado o seu fazer artesanal, fazer este que diferencia seus produtos e que de uma forma ou de outra confere identidade ao mesmo. Levando em conta os fatores históricos que influenciaram neste fazer artesanal e consequentemente na elaboração de novos hábitos em que a regionalidade e a socialização promoveram os produtos artesanais típicos então pode-se dizer interferiram ativamente no habitus e na qualidade de vida das pessoas envolvidas com este fazer. Para demonstrar o trabalho artesanal visitamos e observamos vinte propriedades rurais nos Municípios de Faxinal do Soturno, Ivorá e Silveira Martins na Quarta Colônia durante o ano de 2012 para a aplicação de questionários e fazer uma observação não participante.
