Elaboração de um plano de ação para melhoria de processos de gerenciamento de resíduos sólidos de construção civil na Universidade Federal de Santa Maria

Abstract

The objective of this work was to elaborate an action plan for improvements in the management processes of solid waste from civil construction at the Federal University of Santa Maria, generated from maintenance and reforms requested by the academic community to the Pro-Rectory of Infrastructure. The research method used was the applied method, as it aimed to study real problems related to solid waste. During the work, 3 maintenance and renovation categories were identified among the 10 types available in the civil construction sector, to carry out the on-site analysis of service orders. It was possible to observe that the main difficulties to properly manage these wastes are linked to their packaging and temporary storage, as well as their reuse. So, aiming to contribute to UFSM, an action plan was proposed with improvements to be implemented in the maintenance and renovation process to align waste generation with proper environmental management.
