Gestão de estoques e o desempenho econômico-financeiro da cooperativa dos estudantes de Santa Maria

Abstract

Inventory management in any organization is central and capable of influencing all sectors. Thus, the general objective of this research is to analyze inventory management and its relationship with the performance of the Santa Maria Student Cooperative. For this, we conducted a descriptive, documentary and exploratory research characterized as a case study of qualitative type through interview with the manager of Cesma Cooperative and quantitative with the analysis of financial statements from 2014 to 2018. Among the main results is Since Cesma only uses a system to manage its stock, the main difficulty of inventory management is the neglect with the associate to remove the merchandise from the cooperative and that although the cooperative had a lower income in 2016 and 2017 the cooperative has been recovering in 2018.
