Documentos da Viação Férrea de Santa Maria da década de 1950 favorecendo o turismo cidadão

Abstract

This work has as research theme the documents of Viação Férrea de Santa Maria from 1950 decade favoring citizen tourism. From observations made of possible forgetfulness by the population, considering the Viação Férrea, that is historic patrimony of the Santa Maria city, this research has as general objective to reunite documents of workers from different institutions of Santa Maria, to enable on the population from Santa Maria a feeling of belonging to Viação history. To this, it was necessary to search documents of the workers from 1950 decade of VFSM in different institutions of Santa Maria; to collect information of found documents, their guard places and access to this; and to analyze if this found documents present information of the workers and if they are in quantity to provide the citizen tourism activity. The data analysis was made by a quantitative approach for an initial data analysis, by quantifying and relating the number of visited locals to the existence of documents needed and their access. And to analysis by itself, the option of qualitative approach was required, to be possible indentify if the found and reunited documents from the different institutions were sufficient to the realization of citizen tourism activities that enable to awake the feeling of belonging from the local population to Viação Férrea de Santa Maria. It was conclude that even with a small amount of found documents, it will be possible to develop together with Citizen Tourism what was proposed to the future work.
