dc.description.abstract | The following undergraduated thesis focus on the investigation of how intertextuality is
developed between the novel Crime and Punishment and the same named cinematographics
adaptation by the polish animator and director, Piotr Dumala. We sought to understand the
adaptation process and the established dialogue between these two assingments, and indentify
its main elements focusing on the similarities between them using the concepts offered by
Comparative Literature. Also an extense literature review was realized to understand the novel,
the particularities of the adaptation and the cinematographic’s language. Among the results of
the analysis, was possible to indentify the strategies used by the director for adapt such a
complex novel to an short animation film, as well most importante aspects of the both

dc.description.resumo | O seguinte Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso tem como foco investigar como se desenvolveu a
intertextualidade entre o romance Crime e Castigo e a adaptação cinematográfica de mesmo
nome, do animador e diretor polonês, Piotr Dumala. Buscou-se compreender o processo de
adaptação e o diálogo estabelecido entre essas duas obras, identificar seus principais elementos
focando nas semelhanças existentes entre as duas narrativas, utilizando os conceitos oferecidos
pela Literatura Comparada. Também foi realizada uma extensa revisão bibliográfica, a fim de
compreender o romance, bem como as particularidades da adaptação e da linguagem
cinematográfica. Dentre os resultados da análise, foi possível identificar as estratégias utilizadas
pelo diretor para adaptar um romance tão complexo para uma animação de curta duração, bem
como aspectos importantes dessas duas narrativas. | por |
