Telejornalismo e gênero: uma investigação sobre o espaço das jornalistas mulheres nos telejornais regionais brasileiros.
Abstract
Este trabalho apresenta uma investigação sobre a participação das mulheres no telejornalismo brasileiro para constatar de que forma ocorre a participação delas neste cenário, a partir dos telejornais estaduais NE2 (Pernambuco), SPTV 2ª Edição (São Paulo) e RBS Notícias (Rio Grande do Sul), que pertencem a emissoras afiliadas à Rede Globo de Televisão. Para compreender a dinâmica de ocorrência desse fenômeno, recorre-se a embasamentos teóricos que perpassam a interseção entre o jornalismo e os gêneros sociais, os avanços da participação feminina nesse campo e as especificidades do jornalismo de televisão regional. Adota-se como principal metodologia a Análise de Conteúdo para a descrição e interpretação de três edições (segunda-feira, quarta-feira e sexta-feira) de cada programa, a fim de esclarecer a distribuição dos profissionais em cargos de destaque, a quantidade de jornalistas, duração das produções e distribuição das pautas, que consistem no corpus desta pesquisa. Os resultados encontrados indicam uma disparidade em relação à visibilidade de jornalistas homens e mulheres nos telejornais.
