Educação sexual: guia para profissionais da saúde e demais profissões
Abstract
O conhecimento construído sobre a sexualidade,
ainda na infância e adolescência, é um fator determinante para proteger minimamente a população de riscos
como infecções sexualmente transmissíveis (ISTs), abuso
sexual, violência doméstica, gestação indesejada. Além
disso, também é capaz de proporcionar autonomia sobre
o próprio corpo quando termos como o consentimento e
a região íntima são abordados de forma didática e natural
dentro das salas de aula, consultórios médicos e em casa.
A LiASM - Liga Acadêmica de Saúde da Mulher da
Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM), em parceria com o Núcleo de Estudos em Medidas e Avaliação dos
Exercícios Físicos e Saúde (NEMAEFS), realiza encontros
semanais com a temática de Saúde da Mulher/Saúde e
Educação Sexual com crianças e adolescentes na Casa
de Apoio Dona Odete, de forma voluntária e gratuita.
Destes encontros notamos a necessidade de organização
de um material teórico, com linguagem acessível, para
que nossos participantes possam obter apoio em suas
práticas.
Dessa forma elaboramos o conteúdo que segue
com o objetivo de esclarecer dúvidas, guiando o ensino
em saúde sexual nas mais diferentes faixas etárias. Esperamos somar na temática de Saúde da Mulher e proporcionar, a quem ler este material, mais conhecimento e esclarecimento de temas tidos colocados como tabus
dentro da educação sexual. No conteúdo que segue, a ênfase é na EDUCAÇÃO SEXUAL como um todo, abordando desde anatomia às questões de mudanças fisiológicas.
