Com o aumento do consumo e demanda de energia elétrica de maneira geral, os Sistemas Elétricos de Potência (SEP) sofrem algumas mudanças, como o surgimento de novas usinas de geração a partir de fontes renováveis: solar e eólica, principalmente. O uso dessas fontes vem crescendo, tanto em centrais de micro e mini geração, como em grandes parques. Contudo, são fontes de energia intermitentes, que refletem uma potência gerada com variabilidades e incertezas, fazendo necessário um estudo da confiabilidade da geração em relação à demanda a ser atendida. O presente artigo traz o projeto de um Parque Eólico para atender uma carga de 15 MW em uma situação hipotética, baseado em análises de confiabilidade e severidade baseadas em medições de vento na área de interesse e dados técnicos dos aerogeradores utilizados. Tabelas de probabilidade de interrupção de carga (COPT) e análises de sensibilidade foram utilizadas para verificar os indicadores.
