Amplitude de amostragem e sua influência sobre a fitossociologia de um fragmento de Floresta Estacional Decidual no noroeste do estado do Rio Grande do Sul.
Abstract
Por apresentar robustos indicadores de processos avançados de perturbação de sua composição florística original, as formações florestais naturais no Rio Grande do Sul encontram-se, predominantemente, em estágio de sucessão secundária, e requerem, ainda, investigações sobre o manejo conservacionista dessas formações arbóreas. O objetivo deste estudo foi caracterizar, sob diferentes cenários de amostragem, a composição florística e estrutural de um fragmento de 57,0 ha de Floresta Estacional Decidual localizada na região noroeste do Rio Grande do Sul, no Campus de Frederico Westphalen da UFSM. Foram instaladas, de forma sistemática, três redes de amostragens com parcelas permanentes de 20 x 50 m (1.000 m²), considerando como amostragem principal o cenário 1 (C1), com 13 parcelas (referência), e os cenários 2 (C2) e 3 (C3), respectivamente com 8 e 4 parcelas. Para estimativa dos parâmetros fitossociológicos e demais análises foram amostrados todos os indivíduos com DAP ≥ 5 cm no componente arbóreo/arbustivo (CAA). Para análise da regeneração natural relativa (RNR), através de 4 subparcelas de 5 x 5 m alocadas dentro de cada parcela principal de 1000 m², foram mensurados todos os indivíduos com DAP ≥ 1 cm. Foi calculada a diversidade de Shannon (H’), equabilidade de Pielou (J’), índice de Morisita (IM) e similaridade de Jaccard (SJ). Como resultados principais, os cenários 1; 2 e 3 sinalizaram o registro de 75; 71 e 56 espécies representadas em 31; 30 e 23 famílias botânicas, respectivamente. As espécies de maior valor de importância relativa foram Cyathea phalerata em C1 (8,9%), Actinostemon concolor em C2 (8,2%) e Tetrorchidium rubrivenium em C3 (8,0%). Do total de espécies amostradas nos cenários testados, 34 destas ocorrem tanto no CAA como na RNR. Os índices H’ foram estimados em 3,17; 3,26 e 3,05 nats.ind-1, indicando que a área possui boa diversidade, enquanto a equabilidade J’ assumiu valores de 0,73; 0,77 e 0,76, demonstrando ser uma área com dominância de poucas espécies, na mesma sequência de cenários. Pelo índice de Morisita constatou-se que a amostragem com 13 parcelas (C1) permitiu classificar que 45,3% das espécies têm padrão agregado de distribuição na floresta, evidenciando uma menor confiabilidade para este parâmetro estimado em C3 (4 parcelas), que permitiu classificar somente 30,4% das espécies ocorrentes como sendo agregadas. Pelo método de Jaccard foi possível concluir que a similaridade entre as parcelas (comunidades) é baixa, em todos os cenários testados, não ultrapassando o coeficiente de 0,58. Como esperado, a distribuição diamétrica das espécies no CAA do cenário C1 assumiu a tendência de J-invertido. Os maiores valores estimados para área basal estiveram representados no estrato superior, também em todos os três cenários de amostragem, embora decrescendo de 21,1 para 18,2 m² ha-1 de C1 para C3. Na RNR foram amostradas 36; 34 e 18 espécies, respectivamente em C1; C2 e C3, com índice H’ variando de 2,34; 2,35 e 1,80, o que sinaliza uma baixa diversidade em relação à dinâmica do CAA. No geral, cerca de 69,0% dos indivíduos possuíam entre 2 e 4 m de altura na regeneração natural.
