“Lealdade, humildade e procedimento”: um estudo sociológico sobre a torcida organizada Gaviões da Fiel

Abstract

This work aims to analyze the relationship between fans and organized fan groups, in order to understand the social structures and behavior adopted within these institutions. To this end, eight organized fans, from the state of São Paulo, aged between 18 and 53, were interviewed about their perceptions about the conduct at Gaviões da Fiel. The study produced uses a qualitative method, through the use of the semi-structured interview technique, in addition to the use of bibliographic and documentary data. Based on their responses, we sought to analyze aspects relating to the history of Gaviões da Fiel, the construction of the identity of its members and the impact caused by violent clashes driven by fans. Furthermore, an overview was drawn regarding the sense of belonging present within the organization, and the morality of individuals was examined, based on statutory rules and codes of ethics. The objective, therefore, is that the data collected, analyzed and published here, contribute to the formulation of paths for resolving conflicts involving organized fans.
