Atuação fisioterapêutica às vítimas da Boate Kiss em um hospital de referência no sul do Brasil
Abstract
Objetivo: Analisar o perfil clínico e a atuação fisioterapêutica prestada às vítimas de lesão inalatória e queimaduras de pele no incêndio ocorrido na Boate Kiss, na cidade de Santa Maria-RS, em acompanhamento no Ambulatório de Fisioterapia do Hospital Universitário de Santa Maria. Métodos: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, transversal e retrospectivo com uma de amostra 23 pacientes (23,65 ± 6,27 anos, 11 homens). Foram analisadas as seguintes variáveis: sexo, idade, tempo de internação, utilização de suporte ventilatório, região corporal queimada, enxertia, tempo de tratamento, e conduta fisioterapêutica utilizada. Resultados: Os achados mostraram que o local da lesão por queimadura mais acometido foi o tórax (52,17%), seguido dos membros superiores (43,47%) e face (26,08%). 86,95% dos pacientes da amostra fizeram uso de suporte ventilatório, sendo que o tempo médio de internação hospitalar foi de 45,92 ± 20,56 dias, assim como 69,56% dos pacientes recebeu enxertia. As condutas fisioterapêuticas mais utilizadas nas disfunções músculo-esqueléticas foram mobilizações articulares (91,30%), cinesioterapia (78,26%) e diagonais da facilitação neuromuscular proprioceptiva (52,17%) e para as disfunções respiratórias, a umidificação das vias aéreas por nebulização ultrasônica (100%), manobras de desobstrução brônquica (100%) e manobras de reexpansão pulmonar (100%). O tempo médio de tratamento foi de 4,13 ± 1,89 meses. Conclusões: A maior parte dos pacientes fez uso de suporte ventilatório e recebeu enxertia cutânea em decorrência das queimaduras que predominaram na região do tórax e membros inferiores. Ressalta-que a atuação fisioterapêutica às vítimas de lesão inalatória e queimaduras de pele da Boate Kiss a longo prazo é fundamental.
