Ações de educação em saúde na prevenção de eventos cardiovasculares - relato de experiência
Abstract
Trata-se de um relato de experiência sobre o desenvolvimento de uma pesquisa e assistência desenvolvidas com usuários de uma Unidade Básica de Saúde do Município de Santa Maria, região Central do Rio Grande do Sul. O objetivo da pesquisa foi verificar o impacto de ações de educação em saúde com usuários que tinham diagnóstico de Hipertensão Arterial Sistêmica e/ou Diabetes Mellitus, utilizando o Escore de Framingham e contextualizando com o estilo de vida do indivíduo. Participaram do estudo 12 pessoas de ambos os sexos, com idades entre 35 e 74 anos, sendo que foram cinco homens e sete mulheres. Foram realizadas três sessões individuais de educação em saúde, no período entre agosto e novembro de 2015, totalizando 36 encontros. Foram levantados os hábitos de vida, medicamentos utilizados, frequência da ingestão de frutas e hortaliças, e em cima destes dados foi criado um material ilustrativo que serviu como apoio para facilitar a compreensão dos temas abordados, ou seja, os fatores de risco modificáveis (atividade física, alimentação, álcool e tabagismo). As dúvidas foram esclarecidas no decorrer dos encontros de educação em saúde. A experiência permitiu conhecer as peculiaridades do indivíduo e planejar ações voltadas para a prevenção de agravos em saúde, principalmente a prevenção de Evento Cardiovascular.
