Capacidade para o trabalho e qualidade de vida dos policiais militares da cidade de Santa Maria - RS
Abstract
A capacidade para o trabalho em policiais militares apresenta-se como importante indicativo de saúde laboral, porém a rotina estressante pode repercutir em sua qualidade de vida. O objetivo deste estudo foi verificar se há relação entre Índice de Capacidade para o Trabalho na Qualidade de vida dos Policiais Militares da Cidade de Santa Maria. Participaram da pesquisa 85 indivíduos do sexo masculino com mais de cinco anos de experiência como policial militar. Excluíram-se àqueles que estiveram afastados do trabalho no período da coleta de dados e os militares que por algum motivo não realizaram todas as avaliações nesse período. Para o tratamento estatístico criou-se um banco de dados utilizando o software Microsoft Office Excel 2012, e após analisaram-se os dados pelo pacote estatístico Statistica 9.1. Usou-se uma estatística descritiva através de frequências e posteriormente fez-se a correlação entre o índice de capacidade para o trabalho (ICT) e a qualidade de vida partir do Coeficiente de Correlação de Spearman. Do total de 85 policias 54 tem boa capacidade para o trabalho (63.53%) e 50 (58,83%) policiais foram considerados com a qualidade de vida satisfatória de acordo com o pentágono do bem estar. Quando aplicado o Coeficiente de correlação de Spearman houve correlação significativa (p<0,05) entre ICT e Qualidade de Vida. Em conclusão, a capacidade para o trabalho pode interferir na qualidade de vida dos policiais militares, por isso, recomendam-se políticas que propiciem um ambiente de trabalho agradável e medidas preventivas que otimizem sua qualidade de vida.
