Oficinas educativas sobre hipertensão arterial e diabetes: relato de experiência
Abstract
Este estudo tem por objetivo relatar a experiência realizada por meio de atividades grupais
junto a usuários que possuem diagnóstico de hipertensão e/ou diabetes mellitus no município
de Cerro Grande – Rio Grande do Sul. Com o intuito de promover a manutenção dos níveis
pressóricos e glicêmicos dentro dos parâmetros de normalidade bem como facilitar a adesão
ao tratamento, os profissionais de saúde da unidade básica de saúde propuseram a realização
de atividades grupais para usuários que possuem diagnóstico de hipertensão arterial sistêmica
e/ou diabetes mellitus. Os encontros grupais existem há cinco anos e as atividades de
observação, acompanhamento e análise da vivência para o presente estudo ocorreram de
janeiro a maio de 2011. Os grupos acontecem quatro vezes por mês, em três grupos
localizados no meio rural e um situado na área urbana. Neles desenvolvem-se ações
educativas, a partir de um tema sugerido pelo grupo ou por iniciativa do profissional.
Também, há verificação de pressão arterial, distribuição de medicamentos, atividade física e
ginástica laboral. Observa-se a falta de motivação para a participação nas reuniões, sendo que
a procura pela unidade e/ou encontro grupal acontece quando o indivíduo se percebe "doente"
ou para aquisição de medicamentos. Ressalta-se a importância da atuação do enfermeiro junto
à população que possui diagnóstico de hipertensão e/ou diabetes mellitus, visando resgatar o
foco para a prevenção de complicações e promoção em saúde.
