Design de superfície e linoleogravura: coleção de estampas artesanais para capa de sketchbooks com inspiração em cogumelos
Abstract
O presente trabalho tem como objetivo desenvolver uma coleção de estampas com carimbos
em linoleogravura, inspiradas em aspectos formais de cogumelos. A aplicação, voltada para a
área de papelaria do campo de Design de Superfície, pretende confeccionar capas para
sketchbooks, cadernos produzidos em processo artesanal de encadernação pela autora.
Partindo da proposta do fazer manual, discute-se as intersecções entre design e artesanato,
ressaltando a importância da junção dos dois campos para enriquecimento dos produtos
desenvolvidos. Aborda-se ainda questões acerca do Design de Superfície, sobretudo a área da
papelaria, contemplando também os elementos da linguagem visual. No campo da gravura, a
linoleogravura é situada em seus aspectos gerais. Fonte de inspiração, os cogumelos são tema
de estudos em seus usos, formatos e significados. A metodologia de projeto tem enfoque em
Löbach (2000), com suas quatro fases, e os painéis visuais propostos por Baxter (2001).
Como resultado, a coleção Pilino para papelaria apresenta quatro linhas de estampas
artesanais para capas de sketchbooks, denominadas Coprinopsis, Tricholomopsis, Mycena e
Coprinus. No processo técnico da confecção das estampas foram desenvolvidos módulos em
linóleo, impressos em repetição para criação de padronagens, elaboradas a partir de um olhar
presente nos elementos formais geradores de texturas do píleo do cogumelo. As estampas
buscam trazer uma visualidade única e pessoal em sua representação estética e formal.
