Frequência de dor lombar em operadoras de telemarketing
Abstract
A dor nas costas é uma das queixas mais frequentes da humanidade e é uma das causas de absenteísmo no trabalho. A mulher do século XXI, que trabalha em setores administrativos podem estar expostas a lesões ocupacionais e, por estas lesões, desenvolverem dores nas costas. Tendo em vista tantos agentes danosos no ambiente de trabalho observa-se atenção crescente de pesquisadores da área de saúde do trabalhador que buscam, através de seus estudos, a compreensão e a melhoria nas condições de trabalho e de vida destes profissionais. Logo, o objetivo desse estudo foi avaliar a frequência de dor lombar em operadoras de telemarketing de uma empresa da cidade de Santa Maria, RS, bem como sua situação laboral e a capacidade funcional das funcionárias com dor lombar. Caracterizou-se como uma pesquisa descritiva do tipo quantitativa. Os instrumentos utilizados para a coleta de dados foram ficha de avaliação adaptada de Queiroga e, para averiguar a capacidade dos funcionários em perceber a dor lombar, limitações e dificuldades na execução das atividades laborais e de vida diária foram aplicados os questionários de Avaliação Funcional de Oswestry e de Roland-Morris. Fizeram parte da amostra oito funcionárias operadoras de telemarketing, com idade média de 25 anos, do gênero feminino. Das oito voluntárias, cinco apresentam média de dor lombar 5 na escala análoga visual, sendo que no questionário Roland Morris a pontuação média foi de 2,8. O questionário de Oswestry demonstrou 7% de incapacidade. A dor lombar esteve presente em cinco das oito funcionárias avaliadas, caracterizando-se como dor de média intensidade; compatível com este resultado, a maioria das voluntárias apresentou um nível de incapacidade baixo, o que pode estar relacionado com a faixa etária da amostra bem como o tempo de trabalho na função.
